Lucky Penny is a fun and easy gal to have around.  She always gives you a sincere stare and a good tail thump when she sees you walk in and she'll do just about anything you ask her to.  She feels very safe and comfortable hanging out in her crate, but she also swoons at the chance to cuddle and relax on the couch.  She's got a beautiful tannish-gold coat, and we joke that she is our Pit Bull/Chihuahua mix because of her goofy ears.

Lucky Penny's name is pretty appropriate considering she was left in a dirty crate on the front lawn of our founder's house.  Someone tossed her aside because she obviously wasn't worth much to them, but we quickly picked her up because we knew she'd bring us more than a day's worth of a good luck!

Penny goes with the flow when it comes to her many, many foster siblings competing for attention.  She is happy letting the bigger personalities take the lead and usually likes to stick pretty close to home.  Penny is quite the wallflower when hanging out with other dogs or quietly combing the grass in the yard, but you'll certainly know she's there when she gets some 1-on-1 time leaning against your leg or hanging out on the couch with you.  We really hope that someone sees what we do in this girl and picks up this lucky penny for themselves!
