Meet Skye! She came to us by way of the Bay City Shelter. She was surrendered by her owner when her puppies were only a little over a week old. She became reactive being put in a kennel next to other anxious barking dogs, and became defensive because of her babies. Bay City deemed her aggressive and was going to put her down on Friday, May 2nd. We had some great volunteers help us out from the area and brought her and her puppies to us on Thursday night. We were greeted by a scared, but friendly emaciated female. She was nervous of us being around her, but never showed any aggression towards any of the Buster Volunteers. She is doing a great job with her 6 puppy kids and loves to get snuggles and attention from visitors.
