URGENT UPDATE 5/12/08!
LUCY AND HER SIBLING GEORGE HAVE BEEN RELINQUISHED TO:
THE GREATER HILLSDALE HUMANE SOCIETY
George Was a COURTESY Listing for a small rescue in Southern Michigan.
Unfortunately, Buster is full and unable to take in any more dogs.
Due to failing health, the founder of the above mentioned rescue (who was also the foster homee) was forced to find a no-kill shelter for her rescue dogs. We at Buster wish her a speedy recovery!
The Buster Foundation has not evaluated this dog, and cannot offer any guarantee as to health or temperament.
PER THE FORMER FOSTER HOME:
Lucy is George's sister, both dogs come from a breeder that has given up breeding. This little girl is very sweet and has never shown any human aggression.
Lucy is 5 months old and already spayed and working on her housebreaking. She is very well socialized with children, cats and other dogs. Lucy is also crate trained.
Lucy is going to be a dominent female when she is grown. The former foster home suggests she is re-homed with a non-dominent male or an "only dog". Lucy has been fostered with cats, but enjoys chasing them - she has never caught one yet, though. Lucy will benefit from obedience training and regular exercise.
Lucy is current on her shots and heart worm medicine.
