July 23, 2008 Update
This past weekend we received a call from a caring citizen that "our dog" had been found wandering in his neighborhood. This good samaritan lives only a short distance from King's adopted home. When Joanie arrived to pick him up, she was asked if he was a police or service dog - the people who called were so impressed with his manners and obedience!

We have tried contacting King's adoptive family by phone, notes on the door, through references from the adoption application, even by sending a registered letter - and have yet to receive a response. We can only surmise that the adoptor no longer wants this sweet young dog. Why? We haven't a clue, but wonder if King has learned to be an escape artist - this was listed on the adoption aapplication as an "unacceptable behaviour", and one reason the owner would give up a dog. So King is back with us and looking for his forever home again!

King came (originally) to Buster from a loving, caring home - unfortunately for all involved, his owner could no longer afford to take care of him, so he contacted Buster to find him a good home.

King Bleux has the true pitbull personality - stable, loving with humans and playful. He can be a little headstrong at times - true to his breed - but learns quickly and wants to please. King is settling in again with his foster siblings - he always was good natured with the others. King has been around cats without any problems. He is great in his crate and is such a clown when he romps and plays in the backyard with his toys. It looks so funny to see him do his play bow-thing!

Absolutely no out of state adoptions.
