This precious darling was found by a young lady walking alongside the local "dump" alone a few days ago. Thank goodness she didn't just pass her by. She wasn't sure at first what it was until she got closer.

We are guessing Meadow was bout 5 weeks old - estimating her birthday as 8/25/07. We named her Meadow after the disposal facility she was found at.

Meadow was suffering from malnutrition as she had underdeveloped "wrist" joints - making her look as though she has bowed front legs and forcing her to walk on her tiny front toe pads. It also appears that she had circular burn scars on her body. God only knows who would have left this little creature to die on a busy road. We don't know if she was abandoned because of her condition or if she wandered off all on her own or was being disposed of at the dump site. At any rate whoever did this to her we happily take your garbage!!

Meadow isn't aware that she's got any concerns though. She is bright and alert, loves to play with her toys and chase her ALL her foster siblings around the yard and the house. She does her play bow thing and barks at her sister Coco.

Meadow has improved tremendously with good food, water and exercise to strengthen her body. We can hardly tell she is the same poor sad pup who came to us!

She will begin her vaccines as soon as she's strong enough and we will update her listing.

Right now, she enjoys running and playing and is blossoming into a gorgeous girl - as you can see by her new pictures.
