2/27/05 Welcome to our newest baby bulldog girl "Harlowe". She has come to us by way of Van Buren Township Animal Control. Thank goodness that she was fortunate enough to make her way to us! Harlowe is a purbred American Bulldog born approximately 11/27/04. She is a striking girl with a speckled nose and a brindle eye patch with a few other brindle markings. She is in great physical condition and is on her way to becoming a big girl. She is full of energy and is very true to her breed. Harlowe must go to a home with bully breed experience!! No exceptions as she is a confident, strong girl that will need consistency, training and lots of love and patience. The American Bulldog is a strong spirited dog and it must be made clear to her that she will not be the boss. We have found that female AB's can be dominant and bossy and can be stubborn as well. We are working on her crate training and socializing and she is doing well. She will not be placed in a household with small children, cats or other female dogs regardless of the breed.
