3/19/05 Our boy "Elroy" is doing wonderfully! Born approximately 12/12/04 he is growing into a handsome young boy. He is neutered, up to date with his vaccines and microchipped. Elroy is no doubt one of the best puppies that has made his way to us. He is very social, loves people, gets along terrifically with all his foster siblings. He goes to work with me every day and is awesome in his crate. He is doing great with his housebreaking. He is a big hit at our adoption showcases too. He has had some health issues with "struvite" crystals in his urine but now with treatment and his diet change his labwork is back to normal! We will continue to monitor him to help assure he is free of infection and crystals. He should probably remain on a special diet for a while longer to make sure that he doesn't have a recurrence of the problem, and he should not need much if any special treatment in the long term.
