Reno is a once in a lifetime kind of dog. Never before have I seen a boy with such intelligence, drive, focus, and compassion. Reno's main objective in life is to please... and locate every tennis ball within his reach! Reno is so ca lm and well behaved around children, he would be the perfect therapy dog. He also has such energy and focus that he would make an amazing agility dog or running partner! He is the true definition of the breed: He will do anything to please his person (and get a tennis ball) and his loyalty is unwavering. Reno has done great with other dogs when properly introduced. Reno is an absolute doll around children off all ages and has the patience and tolerance of a saint! On the leash Reno is the image of perfection. Staying right by your side and waiting for your next command is his specialty (next to finding tennis balls). What else is there to say about this handsome boy? It's a mystery why he hasn't found his furever home yet. This boy would make the perfect addition and companion for any family. The right home for Reno would be anyone who is willing to give him attention, structure, love, and of course, tennis balls

Does this guy look familiar? Unfortunate circumstances have forced his family to bring him back to us so we're searching for a new fur-ever home. Here's a little update as to what he's been up to since he's been away....

Reno has been around kids, ages 2-11, and fits right in acting like one of them at times. He's been living with a female Bullmastiff and they get along with no problems. He knows how it sit, stay and lay down on command. He loves the outdoors but he hates squirrels!!!! He loves to kiss and cuddle and loves to sleep with the kids. His favorite resting spot is sitting in the bay window. He is a happy dog who loves to play and play and play!! Sometimes playing so hard that he needs to be calmed down!

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS HANDSOME DEVIL IS STILL NOT ADOPTED??? He's much beefier than these older pics, but still on the short and stocky side... not too big. He has been through a full 9 week training program, and can be CGC tested and certified by his adoptive family!

Reno is one cool pup, with radar ears and gorgeous green eyes... not to mention the reddest red coat we've seen in a long time! He's smart as a whip, and has a big personality. He loves to cuddle and give kisses, as most bullies do... and he gets along very well with his furry foster brother and sister. He likes trying for comical mischief as much as he can get away with (just like a 5 year old little boy!), and will definitely do best with a bully-experienced owner who will put the time and dedication into training and staying on course with him so he is the best bully boy he can be!

Originally found at 7 weeks old, wandering on the streets of downtown Detroit, skin and bones picking through garbage... Reno's come a long way and deserves a forever family to treat him right!
