Dominic has made great strides while in the training program at the women's correctional facility... and he's also gotten HUGE! He's still shy, but it's an amazing transformation: seeking out people, not running away, and listening to commands rather than shutting down in fear. He still needs a special family willing to give him extra love and most of all patience. He will take a little longer than most to settle in, but when he's comfortable he will bloom into the loving boy that's been waiting to come out all along.

Little Dominic is really opening up! He still has a ways to go, but he's realizing that coming to people on his own reaps rewards. He's definitely more confident with other dogs around, but his foster family is making a point of teaching him that learning on his own is important too. We are really proud of how far the little man has come, and it will only get better. :)

Sweet, shy little Dominic had a hard start to life. Wherever he came from (before he ended up at Animal Control), he was either not treated well by humans or was just ignored. Either way, he has a hard time trusting people, and it takes him a little while to warm up (but he does).

He will follow you around on his own terms, and loves being cuddled. He still prefers to be around the other dogs, but treats and sweet voices get rewarded by tail wags. With patience and love, we will make sure this adorable little guy is everything he can be.
