Update 6/4/11

Our sweet little Evie girl is still waiting for her forever home!

Here are a few updates from her foster mom:

She loves to cuddle and sleep in the bed with us every night; She doesn’t snore, fart, slobber, shed or have a doggie odor (haha!); She is not possessive over her food or toys; Very smart and attentive, treat motivated, loves to be told she is a “good girl”; Everyone that meets her loves her; Good with cats but will chase them if they run; Never gets into other people’s things, we never have to worry about her getting into things she is not supposed to; She fetches and shakes hands.

Evie does not like to get wet and it takes a lot of coaxing to get her to go potty and get her feet wet when its raining outside.  And we think she will stay petite!

Original Bio info:

Awww this darling baby girl was a stray picked up wandering the streets of a nearby community. Left outside shivering without shelter of any kind.  Evie is an adorable red brindle and white pitty girl with big copper eyes who just has to be cuddling every chance she gets. 

We are trying to get her accustomed to her crate and it's taking some getting used to; she is doing much better now thank goodness. She also is protesting her collar by rolling around using her paws to rub behind her ears.  She is the youngest of the three pups with us currently and gets run over quite a bit but she can certainly hold her own too.  She's making up for lost time by eating everything she can find. Evie seems to have a thing for shoelaces and pant legs so we are working with her so that she understands that toys are for that not shoes or clothing.  She is totally a sweet little thing.

We'll keep updating her progress and pictures.  Evie is going to make a wonderful addition for a great family.
