Update: April 5, 2011

Buster continues to be a lovable guy in his foster home, his favorite thing is to burrow under a blanket and make himself into a doggie donut.  He is a fun and playful dog and gets along particularly well with little dogs.  So far no problems with cats either, we think Buster would do well in a house with the right dog friends since he really seems very at ease when he has them around.  He is not a high energy dog, but does benefit from a good walk or long play session a few times a week. 

This poor little homeless guy from the street is desperate to find his forever home where he will surely melt your heart with those golden eyes. 

Buster has officially become a Buster dog!

It's a bitter-sweet outcome for his saviour, as she had really fallen in love with this sweet boy... we were so happy that we were able to help them both to find him a wonderful forever home. 

Buster was found hanging out a bus stop desperately looking for attention and food.  No tags or id and no owner to be found, he was lucky when an experienced LVT (Licensed Vet Tech) and dog rescuer found him and took him in.  He was malnourished when he was found but otherwise healthy and very loving.  Now he is up to normal weight,  neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find a new loving home.  This guy is very tolerant of his little dog brothers/sisters and enjoys car rides.

His beautiful light brindle color is very unique and his matching golden eyes will melt your heart.  Buster is in a new temporary foster home with two other dogs and he is doing great, well behaved in his cage while his foster mom is at work and is learning better how to walk nicely on a leash.  He is well trained already, listens like a star and is very funny.  He likes to run around the house sort of scooting along the floor it's hysterical to watch.  He shares his toys with the other boys and really just wants to please everyone. This adult boy has just enough fun puppy attitude in a potty trained and obedient body.   

Looking for a running partner???  Need someone to motivate you to do those few miles instead of eating girl scout cookies???  This is the guy for you, he is a pleasure to run with no pulling or stopping to do his business, he loves to be out and either walk or run.  He would make the perfect partner for someone who likes to run.
