Sweet Harriet is our dark chocolate love bug! At first glance, she seems to have a traditional short, black coat, but once you get closer and the light hits her fur, you'll find a stunning, sleek dark copper/brown beauty. She's got deep brown fur that literally shimmers in certain spots!
Harriet was rescued as a newborn from a negligent home along with her brother and sister (Frankie). She was just a teeny tiny thing then, but she has grown into a lean, gorgeous girl with a permanent smile that will just make your day.
Our Harriet is truly a go-with-the-flow kind of gal. She loves to play with her toys, romp with other dogs, swim in the lake, or just cuddle till she drops! Kneeling down anywhere near Harriet usually results in a couple of kisses and some serious puppy love because her biggest priority in life is to make sure you know how great she thinks you are!
Harriet is being fostered with other dogs and cats and is equally suited for a busy home with other kids and/or pets or a person or family looking for that great first dog to take anywhere and do anything with. We're actually all a little stunned that this baby hasn't found her home yet, and we're hoping that adopters won't let her dark color be the reason to pass her up, because she really is one of a kind and will truly make a remarkable dog for anybody!
