Hi! My name is Colby and I'm a little over a year old now.  I'm a really sweet guy (super good looking, too) but to tell the truth, I didn't have such a great start!  My family didn't take good care of me, so finally a nice lady who had watched me run the neighborhood said Enough! and took me in. Luckily for me, it was just in time because soon after the snow came and the weather turned bitterly cold.

Before that, my first winter as a pup was spent chained outdoors without a dog house, forced to sleep on the bare ground and eat snow because my family didn't give me water to drink.  Many a day I went without food either.  I'm so glad I didn't have to go through that again. Now life is looking pretty good - I feel like I am living "the life of Reiley"!  But I am still without a forever home - Could you be my new forever home?  I hope so!

If you are into nice long walks, belly rubs, rides in the car, hugs and kisses give me a call 'cuz I'm your guy!  Everyone says I'm a pretty great guy at our adoption showcases too.  They keep telling me to always be on my best behavior because you never know when your new family may show up!  So I always am!
