NICK IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF A FOSTER HOME. THIS SPECTACULAR BOY CAME FROM A LOCAL ANIMAL CONTROL FACILITY.

Special thanks go out to Officer Sue who stepped up to help Nick get a second chance at finding a home that will be deserving of this magnificent bully!  Nick has officially joined the Buster Dogs ranks!  He's been evaluated and we're happy to say has become one of the gang.  Nick was "stray" deserted by his so called owner after giving him away to someone "a few blocks over in the hood".  This person had already replaced Nick with another pitbull puppy but poor good old boy Nick kept making escapes from his new owners house and running back home hanging around outside and on the porch!  When people talk about the devotion and loyalty of a dog they must have had Nick in mind!

Nick is interested in other dogs but not necessarily in an aggressive way, although if a dog comes on intensely he will oblige the barking with his own bravado. In reality he seems way more interested in them to play doing the bow thing and running in big circles in puppy-like fashion.  He is a great boy in the car and behaves well in his crate too. Nick was a perfect gentleman at our most recent adoption showcase!  He was gracious with all the other dogs and wasn't at all interested in the three cats that wander throughout the store.

Nick does know a few basic commands and will need training in better manners and obedience. With no leash skills he will have to learn to walk correctly on a leash instead of pulling like a locomotive!  He's an extra strong and powerfully built boy. He would probably excel at weight pull!  Fortunately Nick is in good hands and will be getting some one on one training thanks to Pat!

Nick is a very happy and awesomely handsome, loving boy who seems eager to please.  He is also a lost soul who needs a family who will not allow him to run the show and through patience, consistency and a bit of work will help him to become another goodwill ambassador for the breed.  Nick also seems to really enjoy young kids and appeared relaxed with tolerant with all the hugs, quick motions and the kind of squealing little kids do.  He rolls over and will lay there for his belly to be rubbed.
