Layton is our newest baby boy.  His previous owner was almost late in getting him to me so that's what I have named him.  Another owner who bred and wasn't able to sell him. So the story goes. Loaded with coccidia and roundworms this little guy was way too thin, depressed and not at all like the happy active baby he should have been. 

Now he's already put on weight and eating until he looks like he'll burst.  Now a happy little puppy boy has emerged.  Layton has already decided to follow me around like a little duckling, waiting for the chance to jump into my lap and curl up.  This boy LOVES to CUDDLE more than any other pup I've had, or at least can remember.  Layton is getting used to the big dogs and learning the ropes very quickly. 

This guy will probably weigh in at 50 pounds when he's grown.  I don't believe he'll get much larger.  Layton enjoys his toys and loves to shake um' up.  He just started getting the hang of what a treat is.  He had no idea.  I would offer him a goodie and he'd just sniff it and leave it.  That's a true oddity in this house for any of our dogs!  He has a new doggy bed and has already decided to jump right in and curl up.
