Big Mack is a big sweetheart. Stunning to look at and equally friendly, this guy left most of our volunteers breathless when they met him, not to mention the "oohs" and "aahs" from all of the vet staff who fell in love with him at his neuter appointment! Mack is a popular dude.
As hard as it is to believe, we actually found this guy in a shelter in a rural part of the state, waiting to either be gassed or sold to research. We find it difficult to decide what's more unbelievable: that places still do that kind of thing to dogs, or that a dog that looks and acts like this guy could actually wind up there in the first place.
Mack has been a perfect gentleman since the moment he arrived here and is currently doing well in his foster home with his foster sister, Eden. He is a fantastic passenger in the car--calm and quiet, and is overall a pretty mellow dude. He's definitely a strong guy deserving of some quality daily exercise and playtime. But his self-control and peaceful demeanor should make for a very sweet and loving dog for the right person.
