Say hello to Chauncey. We were concerned for him for the past ten days especially being out wandering a Detroit neighborhood in these terrible temperatures and even before that. Sleeping on a mattress near a curb then onto a porch where he wound up, until found again by animal control and taken in there. Guessing him to be 12-15 months old, weighed in at 108 pounded and yep you guessed it he’s heart worm positive Chauncey is a very easy going and lovable guy. We’ll be treating his heart worm and neutering him and he’ll be ready for a forever family. We’ll be updating with photos and news about how he’s doing as he settles in.
