Taffy was rescued by a woman who found her wandering the streets of Detroit. She was probably clipped by a car but sustained only slight injury. Taffy is being fostered with the kind woman who took her in and is up to date with her preventive care. Taffy is trying hard to be a good girl, no doubt she has had little social experience and needs work on some social skills as most do when entering into a kind, caring and safe environment. Taffy is not good with cats, too high a prey drive and so far hasn't meshed well with other dogs so best case would be a home where she is the only dog. My feeling is the dog isssues can be worked on but definitely no felines. Taffy would do better in a home with no young children as she is way too strong and could cause injury if she knocked a little one over. Possibly a home with children over 12. She has had a few urinary accidents in the house and her foster mom is working on her crate training. She is eager to please and we will continue to update her information as we get feedback from her foster mom. I will personally be evaluating her to get a better understanding of her.
