About Ivy | |

This is Ivy. She was taken in by a rescue colleague a few months back from another heartbreaking situation. Ivy is about 3 1/2 years old, spayed and all up to date with all her healthcare thanks to her foster mom. Her life was one chained out in a yard or basement, wearing a muzzle constantly as told to her foster mom and evident by her hairless muzzle and balding outline of the muzzles straps. She was emaciated and literally starving since by the ex owners admission she was only able to be fed every three days or so. Ivey is getting training to build confidence and trust along with obedience work and abundant exercise to help her work through some anxiety she's experiencing. Honestly when I met her I was amazed at how short and stout this beefcake of a girl is and how powerful she is thanks to her low center of gravity
. She's definitely looks like a dynamo. Help us share her folks. A better life in now eminent for her
