She has been great with all the other dogs that she has met. She plays great with her toys, she prefers toys she can squeak. She has not been bad about chewing things that aren't hers. She doesn't get on the bed or couch. She has been learning basic commands. She sleeps under our bed with a stuffed fox.

Update from Amy's foster parents on 4/16:
Since she has been with us for the short 2 weeks, her personality has really come out. She is very sweet and obedient. She is still a little shy, but is now starting to cuddle up with us. She is also getting better at meeting new people. Two weeks ago she would cower down to the ground any time anyone approached her. Now she lets strangers pet her without hesitation. She is walking well on a lease and learning basic commands. She is so sweet and easy to handle and she loves playing with other dogs. She also loves squeak toys and raw hides.

Amy is one of 8 puppies that were found in the basement of a home. Amy is a typical puppy. She is pretty mild mannered and loves to relax but still has little bouts of energy. She doesn’t mind going on car rides, just sits in the back seat and hangs out, sometimes even falling asleep. For a puppy, she’s good on a leash and loves to go for walks. On a walk just after the recent big snowfall she just loved plowing through the snow even though it was almost as high as her. For the most part she stays by your side but has her moments where she wants to run. All she needs is a bit of training and she’ll be the perfect walking partner. She does very well in her crate and will sleep silently all night in it, if needed. Of all the cute things she does, my favorite is when she crawls up on the couch to cuddle, laying her head on your lap until she falls asleep.
She is now being socialized to get her used to different people, with lots of positive reinforcement, and we expect this to not be a permanent problem. Amy is a very sweet girl and will make the perfect addition to a family.
